FAQ

How does it work for campers under the age of 18 years?
All campers, including the ones over 18, need to sign a disclamer. Underaged campers need this approval/signature from a parent. This disclamer will be sent to you by e-mail. The purpose of the disclamer is mainly to inform that everyone at WHAT! Summer Camp participate  on their own risk. No specific insurance is included.  We also need contact information to a parent or a person responsible for the camper.

What stuff do I need to bring?
All campers need to bring their ski/snowboard gear including skis/board, pools, boots, helmet, and back protection. Gear such as skis, wetsuits and life jacket for the water ramps is supplied by the organiziation but you need to use your own ski boots and helmet. If you want to skate, bring your skateboard. If needed also bring protection for skateboarding. The weather in Folgefonna can vary a lot. Expect sunny summer days as well as a bit of rain and chilly weather so make sure to bring clothes for all kinds of conditions. Sheets and towel is provided at the hostel.

Yes, you can book a transfer through us.This is NOT included in the price, we will soon update you with a affordalbe price for those of you that travel by plane. Monday’s are the days of arrival and Sunday’s are the departure day’s. We’ll pick you up/drop you off at the airport in Bergen. You’ll have to e-mail us your flight details. There can be some waiting at the airport as campers arrives and leaves at different times at the day but we’ll do our best to make the transportations run as smooth as possible.
